I have always possessed deep love and appreciation for artistic beauty and fashion, and it’s a tremendous source of fulfillment for me to find my designs becoming so well received.

I love to use brilliant color combinations in my designs… combinations and designs which I prefer to be unique. Color creates an attitude for the person wearing it. Certain stones create attitude as well. Jewelry, I feel, should be a perfect complement to a person’s style, and that person should project a feeling of comfort with what they are wearing.

There are the times when we need to break through the barriers of “comfort” and shine like there’s no tomorrow –– and the point is to live with that possibility in mind, freely express who we are and shine, comfortably. “

Karla Refojo, the creator of Tulku, is a painter, sculptor and meditator. She travels regularly to Nepal where she works with Newari and Tibetan master craftsmen to broaden her knowledge and connection with the source of her inspiration.

As part of the ancient lineage of artists whose path in Life is to create sacred objects and share them with the world, Karla’s intention with Tulku is to work with other such artists to provide people with sacred art to wear.
