Mission

Fashions.Org^TM has launched a showcase to the internet community for upstart designers and fashion professionals worldwide.

Getting started in the fashion industry as a designer today is very hard. There are a lot of entry barriers. The fashion industry is tightly controlled by major design houses and major retailers, making the decisions for the public what is 'in-style' and how clothing is manufactured. To gain entry, new designers must either join the ranks of the minions starting at the bottom of the design houses, or go alone hoping for a major investor to capitalize the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of their clothing lines.

Fashions.Org^TM with its community theme intends to be the disruptive force in the fashion industry, changing how 'in-style' is determined, opening the avenue to free and fair competition for recognition of new designers, and bringing local control to the manufacturing of clothing, through our social democratization approach.

Our showcase will be open to all designers worldwide on an open and fair playing field with no entry barriers. The worldwide community will vote and determine what is 'in-style'. Other designers will be able to see the trends, learn from the community and with the direct feedback be able to continuously tune and improve. Our affiliated services will provide access to the community recognized designers to local manufacturers, distributers and investment sources – returning jobs back to your community, and promoting more sustainable and climate friendly manufacturing.
