FASHION WEEK 2010 SYNOPSIS

The fashion events for 2010 will be held at one of Philadelphia’s great venue. The Crane Arts' Building which is an exciting and vibrant part of Philadelphia's Northern Liberties section is known for its architectural significance and new edge in arts and design.

February 25, 2010. The Black Tie Affair 7–10 PM
This event will be held at Banana Republic store on Broad & Walnut Street. This event will be the kick–off of Philadelphia Fashion Week 2010. This affair will consist of Models, Designers, Stylists, and the who’s who of fashion celebrities and press. As the guest celebrates in black and diamond attire, festivities will consist of food and wine with fabulous décor of candles and flowers. There will be an award ceremony and fashion & performance glimpse.

February 26, 2010. High Fashion Ready–To–Wear Runway 7PM to 10PM
Philadelphia Fashion Week continues at The Crane Arts Building located 1400 N American Street in Northern Liberties. This event will host a Fashion Presentation of some of Philadelphia’s well established and up and coming talent to showcase their ready–to–wear collection for the press, stylist, celebrities and fashion insiders. This event will begin at 8pm promptly.

February 27, 2010. High Fashion Couture Runway 7PM to 10PM
Philadelphia Fashion Week will celebrate its finale at The Crane Arts Building located 1400 N American Street in Northern Liberties with celebrity hosts and fashion industry insiders. As our fashion couture collection hits the runway, models from previous seasons of America’s Next Top Model will be attending and/or modeling. Celebrity stylist, top–notch photographers, and well established high fashion designers along with some of the most talented high fashion male and female models will give a elegant taste of their talents. This event will be full of lights, cameras, entertainment, and glamour.

A percentage of the proceeds from the events will be donated toward the Evoluer House (www.evoluerhouse.org) for at risk & low income teen girls.

ROCKSTAR Haute Couture | 2010 is a celebration of rock and roll, where design, music and fashion come together for one fabulous event! Orange County’s interior design and architecture firms, independent designers and students compete in a runway showdown using only materials and finishes typically used in interiors donated by textile and furniture manufacturers. Haute Couture designs are inspired by a rock music category selected ahead of time at random. Each runway performance is judged for creativity, construction and use of materials. Design teams are sponsored by manufacturers and dealers in the commercial interiors industry, so it’s a competition to the last pair of stiletto heels! The 10th Annual Haute Couture Fashion Show benefit IIDA Southern California Chapter Student Scholarships and Working Wardrobes, an independent nonprofit organization that empowers men, women and young adults in crises to confidently enter the workforce with career development and wardrobe services.

ALLURE with LADASKA MECHELLE is a sophisticated fashion event where people come to support and view the latest in luxury. This is where our sponsors had the opportunity to mix and mingle with our guests before the fashion show began as well as have a spot on the video from the event. Our last event was a success. Innovative swimwear designer, La’Daska Powell introduced the community to a high–end fashion event that has never been seen in Tampa before.

This year, we plan to have approximately 300–500 people from the community and in other metro areas in Florida. This event will feature an open bar with special cocktails, hors d’oeurves, and live entertainment.
